Michelle here. Photographer, founder, podcast host, wellbeing ambassador, woman who is done with women being made to feel small.

I have spent years behind the camera as an award winning professional photographer and in the boardroom as CEO of Yoke Global. 

 

Having also worked in front of the camera as a curve model, I understand exactly how it feels to be looked at, judged and unsure what to do with your own body in the frame! Having gone through this personally has allowed me to help women overcome that judgement!

 

Woman work hard, yet many stay muted in the background. Unmuted exists to change that. I create portraits that look like your actual power, not a softer, “acceptable” version of it.

I also host the podcast “Mother in the C-Suite”, giving real, unpolished space to women in leadership who are also mums. It is a place to speak what usually gets swallowed. To say the quiet stuff out loud so other women feel less alone and less broken by the pressure to be perfect at everything.

As a wellbeing ambassador for people living with alopecia, I am obsessed with redefining what it means to be “seen”. Hair or no hair. Mask on or off. My work, whether through a lens or a microphone, is about one thing.
